Rayon Vert is a research clothing brand founded in 2017. The founders of the brand met during a cycling trip along the Adriatic coast of Italy in 2013, and since then, they have been traveling and adventuring together, using these experiences as inspiration and the foundation of Rayon Vert's development. During their 2016 European tour, they decided to contact strangers through Instagram to provide accommodation. Throughout the journey, they did not pay for accommodation, sometimes staying with friends of friends, and sometimes sharing rooms with people they had no previous contact with. This experience made them realize the power of networking and collaboration, enabling them to establish a vast network of friends and partners throughout Europe, who became the support structure and main driving force behind the progress of all our projects.
Yuri Kaban: 28 years old, born and raised in Milan, loves various geek items and adventures with friends. Passionate about clothing, technical equipment, and bicycles, although formally a graphic designer, with a wide range of interests. Andrea "Endo" Ferrari: Born in Milan in 1991, although not very good at many things, she is interested in many fields. Became a co-founder of the brand in 2019.
Pietro Fareri: A graduate majoring in product design, residing in London, interested in how things work and how people use them. It is believed that good design can convey satisfaction, knowledge, and initiative, therefore everyone should control the production, use, and handling processes of the objects they use.
Rayon Vert is committed to establishing a condition where everyone can produce their own clothing and equipment. The goal is to make low-quality production lines redundant by supporting independent production and local enterprises.
Establish a closer connection between users and their clothing and equipment, encouraging them to repair and reuse them when possible. Teach users the necessary knowledge to expand the design of items according to their needs.
Reduce the impact of large-scale production on the environment. Establish standards for information control of procurement, production, use, processing, and re-entry into clothing and equipment during the user's production cycle.
Braasilndustry is a family owned enterprise with a small factory located in Hollevice, Prague. They design and renovate the factory to produce their products. The brand mainly focuses on using high-quality local materials to make signature backpacks. The design inspiration comes from the minimalist aesthetics of climbing equipment in the 1980s.
When designing the series, Braasi combined their architectural background, pursuing practicality, visual aesthetics, and eternity, while keeping the products simple, clean, functional, and fashionable. They believe that simplicity is beauty, and each product aims to provide convenience for daily use in urban life and natural environments. Braasi has driven the trend of rolled up backpacks and is deeply loved by cyclists, travelers, and cultural seekers.
Braasi is fully open to new ideas, suggestions, or potential collaborations. They hope Braasi can become a development and production platform. Brands are willing to collaborate with others and companies because they bring fresh ideas and different perspectives. Therefore, you will see Braasi collaborating with various illustrators, artists, and commercial brands.
